Inkabor has installed its new subsidiary Inkabor Bolivia S.R.L., which strengthens the continuous improvement of its operations in Oruro in the production of high quality granulated ulexite and secures the efficiency and efficacy of logistic conditions and shipment management in marketing its products.
Inkabor Bolivia S.R.L., part of Gruppo Colorobbia of Italy, officially started operations in March 2014. This subsidiary has a ulexite calcination plant, whose potential production is 7500 MT per year with a projection to expand in the upcoming months.
With this new subsidiary, Inkabor reaffirms the decision to enhance its production in Bolivia during 2013 , achieving since then competitive advantages on their products: Fertibagra 15GU, used as fertilizer , and Ubor 15GU , which is applied as an additive to provide added value in many industries.
The main improvements in both products are the highest concentration of boron (B2O3), presenting more spherical and uniform grains, greater hardness and whitish color. These properties contribute to increase the resistance to abrasion during handling processes, as well as an adequate controlled release in its application as a fertilizer.
